The former Denny’s and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux executive will support further franchise development for the fast-growing US drive-thru coffee chain

US drive-thru coffee chain 7 Brew has appointed restaurant franchise industry executive Christopher Dawson as President, a newly created role reporting to CEO John Davidson.
In a press release, Dawson called 7 Brew a ‘fast-growing powerhouse in the drive-thru beverage space’ and said in his new role he will support further outlet expansion and drive profitability for company-owned and franchised stores.
Founded in 2017, Blackstone-backed 7 Brew was one of the fastest-growing coffee chains in the US last year, opening more than 160 net new stores over the last 12 months to reach 275 sites across 30 states.

Dawson joins 7 Brew after just over a year as CEO of Louisiana-based restaurant chain Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux. Prior to that, he was a franchisee for CiCis Pizza, Director of New Unit Growth at Denny’s and Group President at automotive services firm Driven Brands.
