Mexican convenience store chain OXXO has rolled out its proprietary Andatti coffee brand across its 600 retail outlets in Brazil.

OXXO entered Brazil in December 2020 with a store in the city of Campinas as part of a joint venture partnership between its parent company FEMSA and Brazilian energy company Raízen. It currently has a presence in 24 cities across the State of São Paulo.

Rolling out Andatti coffee across its convenience store estate makes OXXO one of the largest non-specialist coffee operators in Brazil, which is also the largest coffee consuming market in South America.

OXXO launched Andatti as an on-the-go coffee offer in its Mexico stores in 2005, sourcing from the local coffee growing regions of Veracruz, Chiapas and Oaxaca. The operator also serves Andatti coffee across its convenience stores in Colombia, Chile and Peru – sourcing coffee from each market it serves in.

With over 23,000 OXXO stores across Latin America, Andatti serves more than 670,000 cups of coffee each day, according to its website.
