Hyderabad-based café chain Yummy Bee has raised Rs 18 Cr ($2m) to accelerate outlet growth and support expansion in India’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) market.

Yummy Bee, which promotes itself as India’s first ‘guilt-free’ café, specialises in low-calorie and sugar-free desserts and currently operates nine stores in Hyderabad. The chain is seeking to reach 20 outlets across India by the end of 2025, including first sites in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

New funding will also enable the health-focused business to expand its FMCG product range and scale its delivery reach, where it currently partners with third-party delivery platforms Zomato and Swiggy.

“This investment will allow us to reach more health-conscious individuals across the country, with the goal of making guilt-free indulgence accessible in every major city. We remain committed to offering delicious, nutritious food that doesn't compromise on taste,” said Sandeep Jangala, Founder & CEO, Yummy Bee.

Founded in 2022, Yummy Bee is targeting annual recurring revenues of Rs 50 Cr ($5.8m) by March 2026.

Alongside an extensive menu of cakes and pastries, the café chain also serves espresso-based beverages and a cold coffee range, which includes Sparkling Orange Americano, Mango Brew Coffee and Vanilla Espresso Martini.

Yummy Bee’s investment round was led by Indian venture capital firm, which has also backed organic dairy group Sid’s Farm and smart food production company Make in the Box. Strategic investors, including Continental Coffee Group CEO Praveen Jaipuriar and Karafa Coffee Founder Ajitha Challa, also participated in the funding round.
