Paris Baguette North America is well-placed for an ‘outstanding 2025’ after sustaining strong outlet growth and signing 53 franchise agreements in the third quarter.
Owned by food and beverage giant SPC Group, Paris Baguette launched in the US in 2005, began franchising in 2015 and opened its first store in Canada in March 2023.
The bakery-café chain opened nine net new stores in the three months ended 30 September 2024, including its first in Tennessee, to reach 189 stores across the two markets. Seven of the sites are in Canada.
Paris Baguette North America expects to open a further 20 stores by the end of 2024 and has an ambitious goal to reach 1,000 stores across the region by 2030.
The business is also currently seeking a master franchise partner to launch in Mexico – a market where it sees potential to open over 100 stores.
“The momentum we’ve built over the course of the year has been incredible, and I’m excited to see what the rest of the year brings as we prepare for an outstanding 2025. We expect to open about 20 new cafés across North America before the end of the year, including our 200th North American café — a huge milestone and testament to our growth across the continent,” said Darren Tipton, CEO, Paris Baguette North America.

To support its outlet growth ambitions, Paris Baguette North America appointed former Bowlero executive Norm Ginsberg as its new Vice President of Operations in August 2024, a role with responsibility for all operational aspects of its expanding café network, including compliance, quality control and franchise support.
The bakery-café chain also promoted Brian Egan to Vice President of Development to support new Paris Baguette franchise owners in the build-up to opening their cafés.
