Australian franchise group FoodCo has appointed Sydney-based Connecting Plots as its Creative Agency of Record.
The marketing agency will seek to boost brand loyalty and product awareness for FoodCo’s Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue bakery and café chains by ‘building better synergies’ between brand and retail advertising.
Connecting Plots is currently establishing new creative platforms for both chains which will be rolled out over the coming months, although further details on the plans were not disclosed.
“We were extremely impressed with how Connecting Plots’ thinking stretched across brand and retail in paid, owned and earned. They demonstrated they get our business and will make every brand impression in every channel more consistent and impactful,” said Fatima Syed, General Manager of Customer and Marketing, FoodCo.
Founded in 1989, FoodCo currently operates nearly 500 Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue stores across eight countries. The majority of its stores are in Australia.
In February 2023, the franchise group launched Jamaica Blue in Qatar, adding to its international presence in New Zealand, the UK, the UAE, China, Malaysia and Singapore.
