Hemro Group is set to double the production capacity of its Anfim grinder brand with a new facility in the Milan municipality of Buccinasco.
The new 2,400sq ft site joins existing Hemro facilities in Hamburg, Germany and Changzhou, China, with the Swiss company saying the new facility will add production capacity and enable further development for its Anfim brand.
Milan-based Anfim produces coffee grinders for both the professional and home appliance markets.
“We are happy to see our Anfim brand growing in Italy and globally. This new production site will enable us to move further on our ambitious plans for both volumes we are able to produce as well as our new product developments. Thank you all for coming this far and stay tuned for what is to come,” said Dr. Marcel Lehmann, CEO, Hemro Group.
Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, Hemro has offices across the US and Asia, and currently has 150 sales and service partners around the world. Alongside Anfim, the company also operates the Mahlkönig and HeyCafé coffee grinder brands.
The Swiss group of companies made strong growth in all business areas last year, where group sales increased by over 50% compared to the previous year.
In October last year,
Hemro Group hailed ‘a new chapter of growth in the US’ with the appointment of four new sales and service providers for its coffee grinder brands.
