Treviso-based De’Longhi has reported strong annual revenues across all geographies with coffee segment sales driven by the $1.4bn consolidation of its Eversys and La Marzocco businesses in January 2024.

The Italian appliance manufacturer posted 14% year-on-year revenue growth for the 12 months ended 31 December 2024 to reach €3.5bn ($3.6bn), with fourth quarter sales up 18% compared to the same period in 2023.

In a press release, De’Longhi reported a positive performance across all regions, with sales in Europe particularly high following rising demand for professional fully automatic coffee machines and growing premiumisation among home consumers. Revenues in western Europe increased 10% year-on-year, led by high sales in Spain, Austria and Switzerland, while strong performances in the UK and Czech Republic lifted north-eastern Europe sales 16.5%.

Professional and home coffee machine sales contributed 62% of De’Longhi’s total revenues last year. The appliance manufacturer said its La Marzocco and Eversys business group continues to strengthen its brand position in the semi-automatic professional machine and at-home coffee machine markets, with customers in the latter segment ‘increasingly attentive’ to prosumer equipment, such as the La Marzocco Linea Mini and De’Longhi’s bean-to-cup machine range.

“In 2024, the group achieved a robust increase in turnover of 14%, accelerating to 18% in the last quarter supported by significant growth on a like-for-like basis, as well as the consolidation of La Marzocco which confirms the positive momentum seen in the year. The evolution of revenues confirmed for the sixth consecutive quarter the structural growth trend in coffee,” said Fabio de' Longhi, CEO, De’Longhi Group.

Alongside coffee machines, De’Longhi also trades in the nutrition, food preparation, air conditioning and homecare markets via its Kenwood, Nutribullet, Braun and Ariete brands.
