Extime Food & Beverage Paris, a joint venture between SSP Group and French airport operator Groupe ADP, is set to significantly expand its licensed café footprint at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports as part of a new tender contract.
The joint venture company – first announced in October 2021 and authorised by the French Competition Authority in September 2023 – said its revitalised F&B lineup at the two major airports will include 19 Paul bakery-cafés, 16 Starbucks stores, 13 Brioche Dorée sites and seven Pret A Manger outlets.
The tender also includes 17 EXKI stores, six Côté Sushi sites, five new Eataly units and one Big Fernand fast-food location.
“This initiative reflects our deep commitment to transforming the restaurant experience at Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airports. By combining culinary innovation and operational excellence, we are committed to offering our customers a unique, modern gastronomic experience accessible to all,” said Gérard d'Onofrio, Managing Director, SSP France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
SSP Group currently operates 2,900 food and beverage outlets in travel hubs across 38 global markets. The travel concession operator will further expand its European presence in 2025 after winning a contract to operate 12 outlets at Bulgaria’s Sofia Airport.
London-headquartered SSP is forecasting 12-month group revenues to 30 September 2024 will reach £3.3bn ($4.2bn) – a 10% year-on-year rise.
