New York-based Gregory’s Coffee has appointed boutique public relations agency Powers PR as its PR Agency of Record.
Powers PR will handle Gregorys Coffee’s national and regional public relations, brand partnership accounts and provide thought leadership for the specialty coffee chain’s founder and CEO Gregory Zamfotis, according to the firm’s founder Lana Powers.
Alongside PR for upcoming new store openings in Washington, Illinois, California and New Jersey, Powers PR will also lead media campaigns for Gregory’s Coffee’s upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas menu launches. Additionally, Powers said the PR agency will spearhead partnerships ahead of an ‘innovative beverage’ addition to Gregory’s Coffee’s menu in the first quarter of 2025.
Gregory’s Coffee’s Autumn menu, launched in September 2024, included new Banana Breeze iced lattes and Banana Chais, alongside more traditional pumpkin spice-flavoured beverages.
“I’m deeply committed to fostering a family-like culture within my company, which makes me especially proud to announce our newest client, Gregorys Coffee – a family-owned business that is redefining the modern specialty coffee experience. We’re excited to be part of their incredible growth trajectory,” Powers wrote on LinkedIn.
Founded by Gregorys Zamfotis in 2006, Gregorys Coffee currently operates 45 stores across 11 US states. The business opened its Long Island roastery in 2016 and serves a varied menu of hot and cold espresso-based coffee beverages and health-focused bakery items.
Powers PR said its communications campaigns ‘influence pop culture and penetrate all facets of the ever-evolving media landscape’. The agency’s client portfolio includes healthy food brand Julie’s Real, boutique gyms Chelsea Piers, Pvolve and Sweats & The City and juice manufacturer CheriBundi.
