Specialty coffee roaster and café chain Klatch Coffee will open the first of five in-store coffee shops with US supermarket chain Sprouts Farmers Market this month.
Klatch Coffee, which operates seven bricks-and-mortar outlets across California, will open its first Sprouts Farmers Market site in the city of Fontana on May 2024 before adding a further four cafés at stores in Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga, Eastvale and Fullerton over the next 12 months.
“Being a part of the community has been a staple value since our founding 31 years ago. This partnership with Sprouts helps us to live out that value in an even larger way,” said Heather Perry, CEO, Klatch Coffee.
The Fontana store café will offer Klatch Coffee’s signature drip, iced cold brew coffee and espresso-based beverages alongside exclusive menu items, which include Berry Ricotta Toast and Lemonade Cold Brew.
“We chose to partner with Klatch Coffee based on our shared values, their outstanding product, and their local California roots. We are proud to debut the first Klatch pilot location, offering our customers a quality cup of coffee as they explore our store,” added Dave McGlinchey, Chief Strategy Officer, Sprouts.
Sprouts Farmers Market operates more than 400 stores across 23 US states, including over 140 in California. The supermarket chain began stocking a range of Klatch Coffee’s packaged single origin coffees at 35 of its locations in April 2024.
