Singaporean home coffee machine manufacturer Morning is set to open its first retail outlet on 29 June 2024.
The East Ventures-backed business will use the retail outlet in Singapore’s New Bahru district to showcase its The Morning Machine – a premium Nespresso-compatible capsule machine launched in 2021.
The digital-first business operates an online marketplace for specialty coffee capsules and a mobile app to curate brewing parameters for a range of prominent specialty coffee roasters.
Morning’s coffee roaster partners currently include Czech Republic-based The Miners, the UK’s Assembly Coffee, New Zealand’s Allpress Espresso, South Korea’s Namusairo Coffee and UAE-based Tres Marias Coffee.
Morning has sold more than 10,000 capsule machines and 120,000 boxes of coffee capsules globally since launching in 2018. The business will launch two new machines before the end of 2024 – a compact The Morning Mini capsule machine and The Morning Dream stand-alone milk steamer.
Its inaugural retail outlet also features a tasting bar where customers can sample a range of 120 coffees brewed on The Morning Machine and offers a capsule recycling service.
