Australian coffee and food-to-go chain Soul Origin has opened its first international store at Auckland Airport, New Zealand.
Founded in New South Wales in 2011, the health-focused franchised operator has more than 150 stores across its home market, with a strong presence in shopping centres, food halls and airports.
The New Zealand store will serve locally sourced food, including salad, baguette, panini and soup ranges, alongside coffee roasted in Wellington. Milk will be supplied from farms throughout the country’s North Island.
A second store at Auckland’s Mānawa Bay shopping centre is scheduled to open in September 2024.
“New Zealand has long been on our radar, and we are thrilled to finally bring our dedication to convenient, nutritious, and delicious food to Kiwi customers. We take pride in making everything fresh in-store daily and are committed to serving the best specialty coffee,” said Hao Quach, co-Founder, Soul Origin.
Soul Origin is also introducing its Soulmates loyalty scheme in New Zealand. The programme enables members to pre-order, earn rewards and, after every five visits, receive AU$5 ($3.35) off their next purchase.
