Colorado-based drive-thru chain Ziggi’s Coffee expects to open 50 new stores this year as it seeks to enter new states in the US market.

Ziggi’s Coffee opened seven new stores to reach 86 sites in a ‘busy’ first quarter, which also saw the brand sign nine new franchise agreements. Outlet growth included the coffee chain’s first foray into the Northeastern region of the US with stores in New Hampshire and Maine.

Currently operating across 18 states, Ziggi’s Coffee expects to reach 100 stores in the third quarter of 2024 and 125 by the end of the year.

“Each opening and franchise agreement, especially in those markets where we don’t have a presence, is simply electric for our team here in Denver. Not only does it signify our commitment to broadening our geographical reach, but it also showcases the faith that our franchisees have in the Ziggi’s concept,” said Brandon Knudsen, Co-founder and CEO, Ziggi’s Coffee.

Founded in Longmont, Colorado, in 2004, Ziggi’s Coffee began franchising in 2016. In November 2023, the coffee chain signed its largest franchise deal to date to open 50 new stores in Atlanta, Georgia.
