Black Rifle Coffee Company (BRCC) has appointed sales veteran Danya Kennedy as its new Chief Revenue Officer.
Kennedy, who’s most recent role was as North American President of New Zealand beauty brand Ethique, will support the coffee chain’s efforts to drive long-term ‘profitable growth’.
Prior to joining Ethique in January 2021, Kennedy held several roles at Mars Petcare, including Managing Director of Sales Planning, and Reckitt Benckiser, most notably as Global Channel Director for the UK-based health and hygiene company’s Drug and Pharmacy channels.
“Danya brings an immense amount of experience to BRCC, and I am excited to welcome her to our executive team. As we continue to strengthen our management team, Danya’s experience will be incredibly beneficial as we look to expand to new markets and continue to build towards sustainable, profitable growth over the long term,” said Evan Hafer, CEO of BRCC.
Kennedy’s appointment marks a further reshuffle of BRCC’s leadership team as it seeks to build upon strong first and second quarter sales performances.
In April 2023, BRCC appointed Chris Mondzelewski as its new Chief Marketing Officer, before promoting him to the newly established role of President just two months later. While continuing his CMO responsibilities, Mondzelewski also took on many functions of the Chief Operating Officer role after incumbent Toby Johnson left the company with immediate effect.
Additionally, co-CEO Tom Davin assumed leadership of the coffee chain’s retail division in April 2023 while Stephen Kadenacy was announced this month as BRCC’s new Chief Financial Officer.
