Specialty coffee roaster and retailer Padre Coffee has opened its fifth café in Australia with a store in Sydney’s Paddington suburb.
Padre Coffee, which also operates three outlets in Victoria and one store in Queensland, said the new multi-purpose coffee concept store features a brew bar, including two self-serve taps pouring hot filter and cold brew coffee, a retail space offering a range of packaged coffee and home-brewing equipment, alongside a dedicated coffee training room.
“People and connection are at the heart of everything we do. From our Paddington base, we're excited to bring our approach to coffee and community to Sydney,” the coffee roaster said.
Founded in Melbourne in 2008, Padre Coffee was acquired by private equity firm Liverpool Partners in April 2022 which saw the specialty coffee roaster and retailer join forces with Seven Miles Coffee Roasters.
Led by Phil Restall, both companies operate as separate brands within Liverpool’s portfolio under the Seven Miles Coffee Company (7MCC) umbrella organisation.
