London-based Esquires has reached 50 outlets in the UK with a new store in West Northamptonshire.
The Cooks Coffee Company-owned coffee chain said it has at least five new Esquires stores planned for early 2023 as it continues to grow and expand its estate.
In October 2022 Cooks Coffee Company announced it was seeking a 10% increase in the number of outlets across its Esquires and Triple Two Coffee brands as part of plans to reach 120 stores globally.
Alongside its UK store portfolio, Esquires also operates 13 outlets across the Republic of Ireland as well as franchised sites in Portugal, Jordan and Pakistan.
The New Zealand-based operator reported sales from its UK Esquires outlets increasing 20% for the six months ended 30 September 2022 compared to the previous year. Revenues for the brand were also reported as 35% higher than pre-pandemic levels.
Cooks Coffee Company also manages 21 Triple Two Coffee outlets in the UK.
In November 2022, Cooks Coffee Company completed its dual listing on the Aquis Stock Exchange, an independent growth index separate from the London Stock Exchange.
The company is also listed on New Zealand’s Exchange, although it currently has no operating assets in the country.
