Ruben Scholz, Group Chief Operating Officer, Neumann Kaffe Gruppe
Neumann Kaffe Gruppe (NKG) has announced Ruben Scholz as its new Group Chief Operating Officer.
Scholz, who previously served as Managing Director of Bero Coffee Singapore, which represents NKG’s operations across Asia and Oceania, will assume responsibility for the German coffee supply chain specialist’s global business operations and trading strategy.
NKG said Scholz is a ‘highly reputable, modern, consummate coffee professional’ with an in-depth knowledge of the business.
German coffee supply chain specialist NKG has also appointed Jörn Severloh as Group Chief Business Development Officer. Severloh will be responsible for driving organic growth and identifying new business opportunities for NKG as it seeks to ‘diversify’ its coffee portfolio.
Jan-Willem Otten has been promoted from Chief Commercial Officer to Managing Director of Bero Coffee Singapore following Scholz’s appointment.
“NKG is a growing global network, and we are committed to continue playing the leading role in global coffee supply chains. To reach our goals, we need agile and professional management and staff at all levels, including of course the overall development, management and orientation of NKG through the Board of Management of Neumann Gruppe. We warmly welcome back Ruben Scholz to Hamburg; together, we assure our unconditional support and wish them an excellent start to their responsibilities,” said David M. Neumann, Group CEO, NKG.
Based in Hamburg, NKG is a global green coffee service group, operating more than 50 companies across 26 countries.
