Nespresso has promoted Chief Brand Officer Anna Lundstrom to the role of CEO of UK and Ireland operations.

Lundstrom succeeds Guillaume Chesneau, who has been appointed as Business Executive Officer of Nespresso France.

Lundstrom joined Nespresso in 2010, working as Brand PR Communications Manger before becoming Chief Brand Officer in April 2020.

In the latter role she helped develop Nespresso’s Made with Care campaign, spearheaded by actor George Clooney, which sought to boost global engagement with consumers and highlight Nespresso’s carbon neutral ambitions.

“I’m delighted to take on this new role. The UK & ROI are home to dynamic and fast-paced coffee scenes, shaped by exciting new trends and opportunities. I’m looking forward to this new chapter at Nespresso, as the business continues to innovate and evolve to meet the needs of our customers, and deliver the high quality, sustainable coffee experiences we are renowned for,” she said.

Swiss food and beverage giant Nestlé credited Nespresso coffee pod sales in the UK for driving Nestlé's UK 2021 revenues. Nespresso coffee pod sales increased 7% in the UK last year to reach £308m ($332m).
