French-Japanese inspired café and dining concept Café Kitsuné is to debut in the United Arab Emirates in the first quarter of 2023.
Café Kitsuné is one of three premium food and beverage concepts launching in Dubai’s H Residence, a residential and commercial development close to the Business Bay and Jumeirah districts.
The Dubai site marks Café Kitsuné’s second foray into the Middle East, having launched in Doha, Qatar, in February 2022.
“Dubai has become an extremely dynamic, creative, and modern city that offers a great lifestyle. We are very honoured and feel blessed for Café Kitsuné to make its first opening in Dubai here in H Residence and share our brand’s ‘Art de Vivre’. It’s very important to Café Kitsuné that we offer the best quality coffee, along with consistency and excellent service for our dear customers, creating the best possible experience,” said Gildas Loaëc, Co-Founder of Maison Kitsuné.
Speaking to 5THWAVE magazine earlier this year, Johanna Lellouche, Director of Business Development and Operations at Café Kitsuné, said the group had seen ‘amazing’ demand for new stores in the Middle East.
Alongside Dubai, Lellouche highlighted Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain as potential new markets.
Launched in Tokyo in 2014, Café Kitsuné has developed into a chain of 21 cafés across the world, with outlets in Japan, China, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Qatar, France, the UK, the US and Canada.
The H Residence will also feature London-based Mediterranean-inspired restaurant North Audley Cantine (NAC) and boutique Italian restaurant Cipriani Dolci.
