Figaro Group confident of meeting 150-store target by the end of 2022

Figaro Coffee Group (FCG) is set to end the year with 150 stores across its native Philippines, with the company targeting food and beverage opportunities in high-demand locations outside of the country’s city centres.

FCG, which also owns popular food brands Angel's Pizza and Tien Ma's Taiwanese Cuisine, currently operates 120 outlets across its roster, nearly 50 of which are Figaro Coffee cafés.

Construction is underway for 30 additional outlets in Bulacan, Cavite, Cebu and Laguna, with all expected to be open by the end of 2022.

Figaro has not specified which brands will occupy the sites, but since its stock market debut early this year, FCG has begun pursuing new partnership stores, with an upcoming collaboration with Waltermart set to highlight Figaro Coffee alongside Tien Ma's Taiwanese Cuisine through a dual concept store.

"There is a lot of demand in Metro Manila, but we also see a huge potential in growing areas outside the city centre. The Philippines is a market that is primed up for growth and we are excited to bring value to wider audience in our nation,” said Mike Barret, Chief Operating Officer.
