UAE-based specialty coffee chain Coffee Planet has opened its first café in partnership with DASH Hospitality Group in Dubai.

Located at the popular Circle Mall in Jumeirah Village Circle, the 1,500 square foot store will offer Coffee Planet’s specialty coffee range sourced from over 23 countries.

According to the coffee chain, the new café will mark 'the first of many' in partnership with Dubai-based DASH Hospitality, a new entity from a family construction business, with a portfolio of 27 mainly US-based hospitality clients.

The store brings Coffee Planet's store footprint to 12 sites across Pakistan, the UK and the UAE.

“For Coffee Planet, this is a momentous occasion with the opening of our first location. The company has been sourcing and supplying coffee across the Middle East for many years and now it is our time to put down roots with the help of DASH Hospitality. We look forward to strengthening our partnership with DASH Hospitality as we grow our business together,” said Robert Jones, CEO, Coffee Planet.

Commenting on the opening, Hayder Nashie, CEO, Dash Hospitality Group, said:

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Coffee Planet to help bring their established retail, food service and office business to life on the high street. We believe that Coffee Planets 16-year coffee expertise, coupled with our management teams combined 50 years of food and beverage experience equates to a winning formula that will deliver great coffee of the highest quality, great looking stores and excellent service to our UAE customers.”

The specialty coffee chain previously launched its first owned and operated store in the UK in June 2018, and announced the expansion of its roasting capacity in August 2019, amid rising demand for specialty coffee in the Middle East.
