Award-winning Danish restaurant Noma has launched a filter coffee subscription, sourced and roasted by its team in Copenhagen.

For $65 a month, Noma Kaffe subscribers will receive two 250g bags of specialty wholebean coffee selected by Noma’s Head of Coffee, Carolyne Lane, Head Sommelier Ava Mees List and Head Roaster Alastair Hesp.

In a press release, three-Michelin-starred restaurant Noma said subscribers will explore a range of coffee origins and roasting profiles throughout the duration of the subscription, which will spotlight the farmers and stories behind each coffee.

The Noma Kaffe subscription is available across the EU, the UK, Norway and Switzerland, as well as the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The programme’s first coffees are single origins from Mexico and Ethiopia.

“Over a decade ago, we set out to make coffee an unforgettable part of the dining experience at Noma. After years working with amazing roasters and developing a brewing method fit to our menu and its pace, we eventually asked ourselves: Why not do it all?” Noma said on its website.

Founded by Danish chefs Rene Redzepi and Claus Meyer in 2003, Noma is credited with creating the concept of New Nordic Cuisine, with innovative seasonal menus and a fermentation kitchen where its chefs curate new flavours. Voted the world’s best restaurant five times 2010-2021, Noma has been developing its in-store coffee programme since 2013 when it partnered with World Barista Champion Tim Wendelboe

From March 2025, the coffee served in Noma’s Copenhagen restaurant will be roasted at the Noma Kaffe roastery in the Danish capital.
