UK coffee and food-to-go chain Pret A Manger is set to enter its fourth market in the Middle East with a store at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The outlet will open before the end of 2024 and will be operated by existing franchise partner SSP Group – which won a new F&B contract at the airport in December 2023. SSP Group is also preparing to introduce Vienna-based bakery-café chain Aïda to Saudi Arabia before the end of the year with a site at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
Founded in 1986, Pret A Manger has more than 650 stores across 18 markets globally. The food-to-go and coffee chain entered the Middle East in 2016 with an outlet in Dubai, UAE, before expanding to Kuwait in 2022 and Qatar in 2023.
It currently operates seven stores across each of the UAE and Kuwait, alongside two stores in Qatar.
