US coffee roaster and ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee brand Nguyen Coffee Supply has signed a deal to distribute packaged coffee at more than 400 Albertons grocery stores across the US.  
 

Idaho-based Albertons will stock three Nguyen Coffee Supply wholebean coffees – Truegrit, a 100% Vietnamese robusta, Moxy, a 100% Vietnamese arabica, and Loyalty, a blend of both.

As a first generation Vietnamese American, it’s been my mission to share the flavours of my parents’ home country while elevating Vietnamese coffee farmers. With partners like Albertsons, we’re thrilled to introduce Vietnamese coffee to more people across America,” said Sahra Nguyen, Founder and CEO, Nguyen Coffee Supply. 

Traditionally a robusta coffee roaster, Nguyen Coffee Supply operates a direct-trade model with coffee farmers in Vietnam, where its coffee is processed before being shipped to the company’s New York roastery in Brooklyn.  

Founded in New York in 2018, Nguyen Coffee Supply products are now stocked across more than 2,500 US retail locations, including Target, Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market, Krogers and delivery platform Gopuff. Nguyen Coffee Supply also ships internationally to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Singapore and the UK.   

Founded in Boise, Idaho, in 1939, Albertsons operates over 400 grocery stores across 15 US states. The business is part of Albertsons Companies – the fourth largest grocery store group in the US by revenue and fifth largest by footprint – which also comprises the Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Acme, Tom Thumb and United Supermarkets chains.
