The new site will also house a 5,000sq ft commercial roastery, which will enable Mill City will expand its private label roasting and green coffee evaluation programmes.

Founded in 2013, Mill City specialises in manufacturing machinery and tools for specialty coffee roasters. Its MCR line of roasters have batch capacities of 1kg-60kg, while the higher-volume MCR-60 can roast over 3,400lbs (1,540kg) of coffee per day.

Mill City’s specialty coffee clients include Georgia-based Portrait Coffee, Ohio’s River Roasters Coffee, Frame Coffee Co in Texas, Connecticut-based Silk City Roasters and Iowa’s Blk & Bld.
