Swedish coffee roaster Löfbergs has appointed London-based ARK Agency as its UK Creative Partner as it prepares to significantly ramp up marketing activity in 2025.
Löfbergs began supplying UK wholesale and hospitality clients in 2011. The Karlstad-based business made its UK retail debut in November 2022 with a Tesco supermarket distrubution deal before partnering with premium retailer Waitrose in October 2023.
In June 2023, Löfbergs sold UK retail coffee brand Percol to India’s Continental Coffee (CCL) – a deal it said would enable it to better ‘concentrate its actions’ on developing its own brand coffee across the UK.
“Although a well-established brand in Sweden, we are a challenger brand here in the UK. ARK presented a compelling strategic vision for our business over the next five years along with a range of brilliant creative ideas that will turbo-charge our brand amongst UK coffee lovers,” said Guy Linnegar, Marketing Director, Löfbergs UK.
“We set up ARK to bring a fresh creative approach to clients with big ambitions and to challenge the status quo by helping brands connect to audiences in new ways. We are delighted to be partnering with the team at Löfbergs to help them realise those ambitions,” added Mat Goff, Founder, ARK Agency.
ARK Agency was founded by Goff and Mike Wilton in June 2024. Löfbergs, which previously worked with Norwich-based marketing agency Krow X in the UK, is ARK Agency’s third client after frozen food giant McCain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider Binance.
