Fast-growing Brazilian coffee chain The Coffee is set to launch in Canada in January 2025 with two stores in Toronto.
The Coffee plans to open a third store in Toronto in May 2025 and has a longer-term goal to reach 40 sites in the North American country.

Founded in 2018, The Coffee currently operates 195 stores in Brazil and has rapidly scaled its international reach over the last two years following $17.5m investment from São Paulo-based venture capital firms CapSur and Monashees.
The Coffee currently operates 75 international stores across 12 markets in Latin America, Europe, East Asia and the Middle East.
Canada will add to The Coffee’s presence in the Americas, where the chain has launched in Chile, Mexico and Guatemala within the last 12 months. The small-format coffee chain also has upcoming debuts planned in Australia, El Salvador and Italy within the next few months.
