Italian coffee machine manufacturer Rancilio Group has appointed Massimiliano Bizzarri as its new CEO.
Bizzarri joined Rancilio Group’s parent company Ali Group in September 2023 as Senior Vice President for the EMEA and APAC regions. He succeeds Ruggero Ferrari as Rancilio Group CEO, with Ferrari departing the group to pursue new professional goals.
Prior to joining Ali Group, Bizzarri held senior management roles at Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati, diesel engine maker Lombardini and more recently, food processing machine manufacturer GEA Group.
“I will put all the experience I have gained in my professional career at the company’s disposal, and I am sure that together we will achieve new goals and accompany Rancilio Group towards a new phase of transformation and expansion,” Bizzarri said.
Founded in 1927, Milan-based Rancilio Group manufactures and sells professional coffee machines in more than 115 countries globally. The group’s product range includes the Rancilio espresso machines, Egro fully-automatic coffee machines, coffee grinders and home coffee appliances.
The company, which sells 40,000 coffee machines annually, has offices across Europe, the US, Asia and Australia and currently employs around 300 staff.
