Joe & The Juice will begin offering delivery from its 72 UK stores in January 2025 after signing an exclusive partnership with Deliveroo.
The Danish coffee and juice chain began working with London-based Deliveroo in the UK in 2019 to deliver from an initial five sites. The expanded partnership will now cover all stores across Birmingham, Brighton, Oxford, Kent, Liverpool and Greater London.
Joe & The Juice entered the UK in 2009 with a store on London's Regent Street. In May 2024, the chain’s CEO Thomas Nørøxe said he saw the potential to open up to 500 stores in the UK as part of plans to reach 1,000 outlets globally by 2029.
“As we continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering the best of Joe & The Juice, both in-store and on demand, meeting our customers wherever they are” a Joe & The Juice spokesperson said.
Noting that digital sales now represent 29% of Joe & The Juice’s total group revenues, Deliveroo said the collaboration will support significant sales growth for the coffee and juice chain – particularly during breakfast hours.
“Our customers are increasingly seeking healthier options and Joe & the Juice is perfectly positioned to meet this demand. With this new exclusive partnership, we believe we’re offering Deliveroo customers the very best selection in London and beyond,” said Carlo Mocci, Chief Business Officer for Europe, Deliveroo.
Founded in Copenhagen in 2002, Joe & The Juice currently operates 385 stores across 16 markets in Europe, the US, the Middle East and East Asia.
In November 2023, New York-based investment firm General Atlantic acquired a majority stake in Joe & The Juice and outlined plans to scale the business across its key markets, including the UK, US and UAE.
