UK-based boutique café group EL&N will open its first store in Poland on 14 October 2023, its 18th outlet in Europe and 35th globally.
The outlet is located at the Westfield Arkadia shopping centre in Warsaw, which also counts Costa Coffee, Green Caffé Nero, Starbucks, Vita Café and Crazy Bubble among its food and beverage operators.
EL&N’s Polish debut further strengthens the boutique café group’s international presence, as it seeks to reach 200 stores within five years.
The social media-savvy brand has also debuted in Bahrain, Malaysia, South Africa and Germany this year, adding to its stores in the UK, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
EL&N is also poised to enter the fast-developing Indian market following a franchise agreement with Mumbai-based Reliance Brands and boost its presence at international travel hubs via a partnership with Paris-based Lagardère Travel Retail.
The Polish branded coffee shop market is currently the seventh largest across Europe by outlets, with more than 1,400. World Coffee Portal research forecasts over 100 net new outlets opening in Poland by 2028.
