Café Kitsuné appoints Maurine Grall as Head of International Development

Grall will lead further international expansion for the Paris-based boutique café group which is expected to add to its 13 markets globally with several debuts across the Middle East

Maurine Grall has been promoted to Head of International Development at Café Kitsuné to lead further growth for the group globally. 
 

Grall joined the 26-strong boutique café chain in March 2022 as International Franchise Manager having previously worked for French commercial catering group Groupe Bertrand and luxury food retailer Arcadys. 


Paris-based Café Kitsuné opened its first outlet in Tokyo in 2013 before launching in the French capital later the same year. 


The boutique café group currently operates four outlets in Japan, France and South Korea respectively, three across the US, two in each of China, Indonesia and Singapore, and single stores in Canada, the UK, Qatar, Thailand, the Philippines and Taiwan


With a store set to open in the UAE this year, further expansion across the Middle East could be on the horizon with Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain mooted as potential new markets.
