New York-based boutique café group Bluestone Lane has opened its first airport location at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport.
Bluestone Lane, which operates 62 stores across the US, said the outlet will offer the same specialty coffee, full café menu and cocktails as its other retail stores.
The Newark Liberty International site is the boutique café group’s third in New Jersey, alongside its Hoboken and Jersey City stores.
In October 2022, Bluestone Lane CEO Nick Stone told World Coffee Portal that the company was also set to open outlets in New York’s JFK International and LaGuardia airports, as well as Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts, US.
Stone said Bluestone Lane’s airport debut will offer an elevated dining experience for US travellers.
Newark Liberty International Airport, which opened its new $2.7bn Terminal A in December 2022, also hosts 10 Dunkin’ and seven Starbucks stores.
