Macerata-based Simonelli Group has appointed Marco Feliziani as its new CEO with immediate effect as it seeks to balance business continuity with a greater focus on environmental and social sustainability.
Feliziani joined the Italian espresso machine and coffee equipment manufacturer in 2015 as Director of the group’s US branch and has also served in group Sales Director and Deputy Chairman roles.
He succeeds Fabio Ceccarani, who joined Simonelli Group in 2009 and had held the role of CEO since September 2017.
“Fabio Ceccarani is directly linked with the history of success of our company. Over the last 14 years he has had a decisive effect and I am extremely grateful for this and for his commitment. Today is the beginning of a new era for Simonelli Group. The company is now ready to entrust one of its shareholders, Marco Feliziani, with the role of CEO,” said Nando Ottavi, Chairman, Simonelli Group.
Simonelli Group, which reported sales of €121m ($133m) in 2022, said it is moving forward with a ‘very solid financial base’ and ‘strong market position’.
The owner of the Nuova Simonelli and Victoria Arduino espresso machine brands said its focuses are a renewed commitment to economic growth and progress on the issues of environmental and social sustainability.
