UK-based SSP Group has appointed Graham Woods as UK&I Property Director as part of a wider refresh of its UK & Ireland executive team.
Woods held the position of Global Property Director at UK coffee and food-to-go chain Pret A Manger from 2007-2020.
At Pret, Woods was responsible for acquisition, design, construction, estates management, maintenance, facilities and health and safety. He is also credited with playing a key role in growing the company’s international business and the acquisition of British food and drink retailer EAT in May 2019.
SSP UK & Ireland has also appointed Fi Butcher as Managing Director for Dublin, where she will oversee brand development and concept creation in the Irish capital.
Butcher has worked for SSP since 2014, most recently as Commercial and Marketing Director for the UK & Ireland where she is credited with launching several new concepts at Dublin airport, including a bespoke ‘Tap + Brew’ craft beer and gourmet hot dog concept.
Travel food and beverage operator SSP also announced Andy Webb’s promotion to Commercial Director and Cathy Granby to the UK&I Executive Team as Business Development Director. Webb’s appointment brings the company’s commercial, supply chain and procurement teams under one lead for the first time.
“I’d like to wish Fi, Cathy, Andy and Graham all the best in their new roles, and I look forward to working together as one team over the months ahead to execute our strategy and accelerate our growth. Our team has been doing a fantastic job and I can’t wait to see what we will achieve in the coming months,” said Richard Lewis, CEO, SSP UK & Ireland.
SSP Group, which operates its own café brands, Caffè Ritazza, Camden Food Co., Soul + Grain and Upper Crust alongside licensed brands of Starbucks, Burger King and YO! Sushi, reported its third quarter revenues as reaching 87% of pre-pandemic levels.
