Los Angeles-based Chamberlain Coffee has appointed former Red Bull Senior Brand Marketing Manager Liz Ahern as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
Ahern will be responsible for Chamberlain Coffee’s brand strategy, marketing and omnichannel expansion.
Ahern previously worked for Chamberlain Coffee’s CEO Christopher Gallant at energy beverage company Red Bull, where she led national product launches.
"Liz is a highly-experienced, ambitious leader in CPG marketing and I am beyond excited to have her join the team. With her extensive knowledge in experiential and product marketing, I am confident that she will be able to build our team and support our growth," said Gallant.
Launched in 2019 by YouTube personality Emma Chamberlain, Chamberlain Coffee has seen its strong social media presence attract an increasing number of younger coffee consumers to the brand.
In August 2022, Chamberlain Coffee secured $7m investment in a Series A funding round to expand the brand into new sales channels and launch new products.
"I'm proud to be joining Chris and the Chamberlain Coffee team as their Chief Marketing Officer. I admire Chamberlain Coffee's commitment to quality and sustainability within their products, while simultaneously being inviting and approachable. I was intrigued by this unique positioning in the premium coffee space and am looking forward to playing a role in bringing Emma's brand vision to life," said Ahern.
Chamberlain Coffee's success has expanded beyond its original direct-to-consumer model, recently distributing products in Los Angeles’ premium supermarket chain Erewhon and via digital delivery market Gopuff.
The company has also launched several product collaborations, including pop-up café partnerships with New York-based coffee chain Blank Street and US fashion brand Levi's.
