The New York Coffee Festival will return for the first time since 2019 on 7-9 October 2022 to celebrate New York City’s specialty coffee scene.
The flagship three-day festival, sponsored by Slayer Espresso Machines, Fiorenzato and Battenkill Valley Creamery, will showcase the latest innovations in the coffee industry, with confirmed exhibitors including Blank Street Coffee, Nguyen Coffee Roasters, Oatly and Parlor Coffee.
Alongside the opportunity to discover new products and brands, The New York Coffee Festival will feature workshops, interactive demos and host the 2022 edition of Coffee Masters USA, a knockout format competition in which 16 baristas will showcase their skills head-to-head across a broad range of disciplines.
Event organiser Allegra Group has announced that 100% of profits from the 2022 New York Coffee Festival will be donated to Project Waterfall and New York City-based partner, charity: water.
"We’re delighted to be back in New York City! The last three years have been incredibly challenging for the hospitality industry and the coffee world has been no exception. We look forward to sharing this celebration of the vibrant NYC coffee community and showcasing every step from farmers to roasters to all of the wonderful baristas, and everything in between,” said Jeffrey Young, CEO, Allegra Group.
First launching The London Coffee Festival in 2011, Allegra Events hosts coffee festivals around the world, including in Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Milan and Paris.
The inaugural São Paulo Coffee Festival in June 2022 welcomed more than 12,000 visitors to the São Paulo Bienal Pavilion, at Ibirapuera Park, Brazil.
