A total of 24,232 visitors attended The London Coffee Festival 2022. Four caffeine packed days at The Truman Brewery, 31 March-3 April, saw the world-renowned coffee event edging towards its pre-pandemic level of around 30,000 attendees.

More than 9,500 of those visitors were qualified hospitality buyers and decision makers from across the coffee, hospitality and foodservice industries. The Thursday and Friday trade days provided exposure, networking opportunities, and thought leadership via The Lab programme of talks and panel discussions.

The London Coffee Festival also raised £9,660 for the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal and £21,791 for Project Waterfall, which supports coffee growing communities providing clean water infrastructure.

“We are delighted with the success of the London Coffee Festival 2022,” said Jeffrey Young, CEO and Founder of Allegra Group.

“There was a palpable excitement over the four days, and it was particularly heartening to see a relative return to normality where people were able to shake hands and do business face-to-face.

“There was a genuine spirit of humanity over the four days, as reflected by the generous sums raised for the Red Cross and Project Waterfall.

Taking the Coffee Masters tournament by storm, Rastislav Kasár from Slovakia and representing Four Boroughs was crowned this year’s champion and takes home the £5,000 prize.

Allegra Events returns to the US for The New York Coffee Festival, 7-9 October 2022.
