% Arabica continues to scale its boutique coffee shop concept internationally, with two new stores planned for Toronto, Canada

Japanese boutique coffee chain % Arabica is set to open its first stores in Canada.
The new sites will be located in Yorkdale Shopping Centre and Union Station in Toronto, with opening dates slated for later this year and 2022 respectively.
The station store was promoted by Union Station on social media, and later confirmed by a % Arabica spokesperson to a media outlet.
“We are so thrilled to be coming to Canada with one of our locations landing inside Toronto’s iconic Union Station... we are excited to share our love for coffee and design with the Canadian market and offer a truly unique coffee experience,” a % Arabica spokesperson said.
Since launching its first store in 2014 in Kyoto, Japan, % Arabica has grown an international network of franchised stores.
The coffee chain currently operates 105 stores across 17 countries, including 57 in its largest market in China, with further sites across Europe, the US and the Middle East.
According to % Arabica’s website, the boutique chain will soon open stores in Saudi Arabia and Taiwan, with additional locations including Egypt, India and Vietnam, also expected.
