JAB-owned coffee shop chain Caribou Coffee has unveiled its newest store concept Caribou Cabins to focus on convenience, speed and efficiency.

The new small-format locations will feature no indoor seating, with sales conducted via drive-through windows and walk-up service counters, known as Caribou Cabins. In a statement, the company said, “This strategy is aimed at increasing the company’s store penetration while also delivering on customer’s increasing demand for convenience and speed.”
The cabins will offer an expanded food and beverage menu and will be the first locations to launch the new range of
Caribou Bou-sted RTD sparkling caffeinated beverages.

In an announcement, President & CEO, John Butcher said, “We are confident that our new Cabin concept will differentiate us even more by delivering customers the highest quality coffee, expanded beverage innovation and ownable guest interaction that only Caribou can deliver,"
The international brand will debut the new store concept in five locations across Minnesota, USA with a view to add more stores over the next 24 months.
