London-based Black Sheep Coffee has appointed Ben Fenton as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Fenton joined the specialty robusta chain in June 2021 and has been promoted from his position as Global Operations & Development Director – a role he held since March 2024.

In his new role, Fenton will work alongside Black Sheep Coffee Founders Eirik Holth and Gabriel Shohet to support outlet growth, drive in-store efficiencies and coordinate day-to-day operations across the coffee chain’s global store network.

Founded in 2013, Black Sheep Coffee currently operates 103 UK outlets alongside four stores in the UAE, two in the US and a single site in France.

As part of efforts to further support the rollout of new stores, the specialty robusta chain has also promoted Kieran Littlewood to Head of Franchise Operations. Littlewood joined Black Sheep Coffee in February 2023 and served as Franchise Operations Manager from the following November. He succeeds Jess Bouscarle in the role.
