London-based coffee truck operator Dear Coco is diversifying its portfolio with a new kiosk concept designed to serve retail and commercial locations.
The first Dear Coco Inside coffee kiosk will open at West London’s Apo residential development on 24 March 2025 as part of Dear Coco’s strategy to partner with UK real estate developers.
“We’re all about simply brilliant coffee, where you’ve always wanted it, served by the world’s best. We’re excited to bring the magic of our outdoor coffee trucks inside and create a place out of a space for everyone to enjoy,” said Ant Duckworth, Founder, Dear Coco.
Founded in May 2021, Dear Coco began trading from a converted Piaggio Ape coffee truck on Strand-on-the-Green, West London. The business received investment from London-based venture capital firm Laneway Ventures in January 2024 to scale and diversify its operating model and has since rolled out a second coffee truck and launched a coffee bar in Tottenham Hale, North London.
Laneway Ventures’ Founder Sam Chandler joined Dear Coco as Chairman in January 2024 as part his investment into the coffee truck business and has worked alongside Duckworth to launch a franchise programme and develop a tech platform to facilitate mobile pre-ordering and on-site delivery from its Dear Coco Inside sites.
Seeking to further elevate its coffee offer, Dear Coco partnered with Bristol-based specialty coffee roaster Triple Co in June 2024 to launch Ant’s Blend, sourced from Brazil, Colombia and Guatemala, which is served at its sites and sold online.
