Boutique bakery-café group Gail’s will open its first airport location this summer with an outlet at London Gatwick Airport.
Posting on social media, London-based Gail’s said the ‘thoughtfully designed 100-cover space’ in Gatwick’s South Terminal will offer travellers the same premium coffee and bakery menu as its high street outlets.
“We’re taking off! From our expanded grab-and-go range to our new selection of homewares and gifts, we’re here to bring the joys of craft baking to every journey,” the chain wrote.
Led by Founder and CEO Tom Molnar, Gail’s has steadily expanded across the UK – growing from a single site in Hampstead, London, in 2005 to over 160 outlets across the country. The bakery-café chain has been scaling its transport hub presence over the last 12 months, opening stores at St Pancras, Liverpool Street and London Bridge rail stations.
Gail’s, which is seeking to open 40 new sites in 2025, will join fellow hospitality operators Black Sheep Coffee, Caffé Nero, Greggs, Joe & The Juice, Pret A Manger and Starbucks in Gatwick’s South Terminal.
