Manila-based Jollibee Food Corp (JFC) has launched premium Singaporean bakery-café chain Tiong Bahru Bakery in the Philippines with a store in Bonifacio Global City.
Founded in 2012, Tiong Bahru Bakery currently operates 21 outlets across its home market, serving a range of French-inspired handmade pastries and specialty coffee supplied by Singapore’s Common Man Coffee Roasters (CMCR).
The Philippines is the brand’s first international market.
“Introducing Tiong Bahru Bakery to the Philippine market aligns with our commitment to providing Filipinos with exciting, world-class dining experiences. This marks the first international branch of Tiong Bahru Bakery, and we are proud to open it here in the Philippines,” said Ernesto Tanmantiong, Global President and CEO, JFC.
JFC formed a joint venture company with Singapore-based Food Collective Pte. Ltd.in August 2023 to launch CMCR and Tiong Bahru Bakery in the Philippines. The Filipino foodservice group opened the first CMCR in the Philippines at Makati City’s Ayala Triangle Gardens in January 2024.
