Bengaluru-based hospitality group Curefoods has acquired the rights to operate US doughnut and coffee chain Krispy Kreme in the south and west of India from Landmark Group.

Curefoods is planning to integrate Krispy Kreme into its 300-strong cloud kitchen network, as well as open new standalone outlets and scale its presence on delivery platforms Swiggy and Zomato.

Landmark Group has opened 50 Krispy Kreme stores in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru since bringing the brand to India in 2013. Curefoods plans to open 25 new bricks-and-mortar Krispy Kreme stores by the end of 2025.

“We are thrilled to bring Krispy Kreme into Curefoods. The brand’s global legacy and strong consumer appeal align perfectly with our vision to diversify and offer high-quality food experiences. This partnership takes us beyond our cloud kitchen ecosystem and into brick-and-mortar excellence,” said Ankit Nagori, Founder, Curefoods.

Speaking to the Economic Times, Nagori outlined plans to reach the Rs 100 Cr ($11.6m) revenue mark for Krispy Kreme within the next 12 months.

Founded in 2020, Curefoods operates the EatFit, Sharief Bhai, Nomad Pizza and Olio Pizza quick-service brands. As part of the deal, Landmark Group has acquired a stake in Curefoods as part of the latter’s $40m funding round.
