Australian brunch-inspired café chain Daisy Green is laying the groundwork for international expansion after reporting a 27% year-on-year increase in revenues.
The group, which currently operates 17 boutique outlets across London, said it was investing in new sites in the UK and internationally while developing the ‘required teams, infrastructure and processes to support this growth’.
Founded by Prue Freeman and Tom Onions in 2012, Daisy Green posted revenues of £22.7m ($28.2m) during the 12 months ended 21 April 2024 alongside 14% year-on-year adjusted EBITDA growth to reach £2.4m ($2.9m).
The premium dining group narrowed its pre-tax losses from £1.2m ($1.5m) during the previous year to £373,955 ($465,462) but said profit margins continue to be negatively impacted by ‘inflated and delayed build costs’ and higher utility expenditure.
Founded by Prue Freeman and Tom Onions in 2012, Daisy Green operates outlets in some of London’s most high-footfall locations, including Regent Street, Southbank and Charing Cross Rd, as well as boat cafés on Regents Canal and Richmond Riverside and two concession sites at the National Portrait Gallery. The boutique group serves specialty coffee supplied by The Roasting Party alongside brunch, afternoon tea, dinner and cocktails.
