SSP Group will bring its Ritazza, Upper Crust and Soul + Grain café chains to Lithuania in 2025 after securing a seven-year agreement at Vilnius International Airport.
The travel concession operator will operate six brands at the airport, including a licensed Burger King outlet and bespoke concepts Vilnius Bar & Bistro – Le Grand Comptoir and Factory Bar and Kitchen.
“We’re delighted to be a part of the exciting project at Vilnius Airport to elevate the passenger experience. It’s a testament to the hard work and know-how of our teams that Lithuanian Airports has decided to partner with us for these new F&B outlets,” said Bente Brevik, Nordics CEO, SSP Group.
Vilnius International Airport is the largest of the three commercial airports in Lithuania by passenger traffic, welcoming 4.4 million passengers in 2023 and five million across the first 10 months of 2024.
The airport will open a new departures terminal in 2025 which Lithuanian Airports said will double passenger capacity and offer a more ‘modern, enhanced travel experience’. A new arrivals terminal is scheduled to open in 2028.
SSP Group currently operates 2,900 food and beverage travel hub outlets across 38 markets globally, after commencing operations in New Zealand in March 2024.
In August 2024, SSP Group announced it will open its first food and beverage units in Bulgaria in 2025 after winning a contract to operate 12 outlets at Sofia Airport.
