Texas-based Farmer Brothers has appointed former Nothing Bundt Cakes executive Vance Fisher as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Fisher joins Farmer Brothers from US bakery business Nothing Bundt Cakes, where he is credited with tripling the company’s EBITDA during a five-year tenure as Chief Financial Officer.
He previously held similar roles at food and beverage companies Dunn’s River Brands and Daisy Brand.
“Vance is an experienced CFO with a proven track record of helping organisations grow revenue and EBITDA. We are excited to have him join our leadership team as we continue to unlock the full potential of our direct store delivery (DSD) network and drive strategic, long-term growth,” said John Moore, CEO, Farmer Brothers.
Farmer Brothers distributes coffee, tea, spices and breakfast products to US horeca businesses, foodservice operators and grocery stores via a network of 80 local offices and five distribution centres, reaching 45,000 delivery points annually. Its primary coffee brands include Farmer Brothers, Boyd’s, Cain’s and West Coast Coffee.
Fisher is the business’ third senior appointment this year following Moore’s promotion to President and CEO in February 2024 and the appointment of Matthew Swenson as Vice President of Coffee Operations a month later.
Brad Bollner, who has served as Farmer Brothers Interim Chief Financial Officer since August 2023, will remain with the company as its Vice President of Finance.
