Krispy Kreme has appointed Grey Dubai as its new Strategy and Creative Agency for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Grey Dubai, a subsidiary of global communications giant WPP, will lead Krispy Kreme’s communications across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait.
“We’re excited to be leading this decidedly delicious brand and looking forward to being a key partner in delivering the ambitious goals of Krispy Kreme across the region,” said Philippe Berthelot, Managing Director, Grey Dubai.
In December 2023 Krispy Kreme appointed advertising giant VML, another WPP subsidiary, as its new Global Creative Agency Partner, awarding media responsibilities for its US and international business encompassing 2,100 outlets and 13,400 total points of sale across 37 markets.
Krispy Kreme opened its first store in the Middle East in Kuwait in 2006 in partnership with Americana Restaurants. The UAE-based franchisee currently operates approximately 340 Krispy Kreme outlets across seven Middle Eastern markets, as well as two stores in Kazakhstan following its debut in October 2023.
