The Californian specialty coffee chain will open a pop-up site in partnership with Japanese fashion retailer LUMINE before bringing the ‘full Blue Bottle Coffee experience’ to Singapore

Renowned US specialty café chain Blue Bottle is soft launching in Singapore with a temporary ‘gift shop’ at the LUMINE store in Raffles City Shopping Center.
Set to open on 27 August 2024, the store will sell Blue Bottle’s
specialty instant coffee and premium matcha products alongside a range of branded merchandise and drinkware.
In a press release, Blue Bottle Coffee said the pop-up store will also host an exhibition chronicling its journey from California’s Bay Area to opening stores across Asia and the profound influence of Japanese culture has had on the brand.
‘The gift shop is a first step for a broader introduction of the full Blue Bottle Coffee experience planned for Singapore,’ Blue Bottle Coffee said in a press release statement.

Founded by James Freeman in 2002 Blue Bottle Coffee operates more than 100 cafés in the US and Asia and was majority acquired by Nestlé in 2017. The boutique coffee chain opened its first made its international debut with a store Japan in 2015, followed with
South Korea in 2019, Hong Kong in 2020 and
mainland China in 2022.
