Nestlé has announced the appointment of Sarah Huber as Business Executive Officer of the group's coffee business for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).
Huber, who previously held the same role for the group's coffee division in Switzerland, will report to Yana Mikhailova, Nestlé's Head of Coffee for Europe.
Having first joined Nestlé in 2007, Huber is also a member of the Swiss food and beverage giant’s European Coffee category leadership team and the Nestlé Germany management team.
In July 2022 Nestlé reported
sales growth of 9.2% for the first half of 2022 to reach CHF 45.6bn ($47.5bn), with overall coffee sales growing at a high single-digit rate. In Europe, trading increased 3% to reach CHF 9.3bn ($9.4bn).
Coffee contributed more than $25bn, or approximately 27%, of
Nestlé’s sales in 2021.
